Her professional career is described by her devotion to a combination of Marketing and Fitness. Her determination to follow a healthy lifestyle grew while she was still an undergrad in college when she started creating a series of workouts in public gyms that caught the attention of other professional trainers.
After graduating Emerson College with a degree in Marketing and Advertising and a minor in Business she worked as a creative and strategist at La Union, Panama’s largest advertising agency. A year after graduating, she couldn’t find an exercise routine that would satisfy her needs. She decided to recreate the concept of fitness in Panama with one that would provided a full experience and could become less than a just workout and more like a lifestyle.
At the beginning of 2016, the revolutionary idea started taking shape. In May of that year, she became a certified instructor from Barre Intensity, which led her to create, along with her co-workers, their own workout method and lifestyle.
Today, she is one of Fitology’s instructors and the master mind behind the brand’s marketing.
Ivonne discovered her passion for the arts after being the protagonist of various theater plays. She excelled as a singer, actress and a professional dancer every time she performed. She obtained a major degree in Graphic Design and Visual Arts with a double minor in Theater and Art History from Northeastern University. During her years at college she learned new ideas and inspirations about healthy lifestyle and fitness, and was able to follow her passions for holistic nutrition and for understanding the harmony of the mind and body.
In 2015, she began working as a freelancer graphic designer and marketer with different companies. Later, in May 2016, she became a certified instructor from Barre Intensity and joined with her partners to start creating a new fitness concept in Panama.
Currently, she teaches classes at the studio and is the creative and designer manager behind the studio and its healthy spot FitBar.co
Ariela started attending ballet lessons at a young age and since has dedicated most of her time to dancing. She participated in several theater plays and in various international ballet competitions, winning high medals and recognitions. She graduated from the Terpsicore Dance Academy, where she was also a ballet teacher for little girls. She studied at the Universidad Latina de Panama and obtained a degree in Marketing and Advertising with a minor in Graphic Design.
Her passion for ballet and fitness made led her to be a co-founder of Daily Barre, the first Barre studio in Panama. With her knowledge in barre, she partnered with Luisa and Ivonne with the goal of creating a new, revolutionary concept for the fitness landscape in Panama.
Now, Ariela is one of Fitology’s master instructors and behind the scenes, she is the head of the administration team.
